October 2009

October was full of new adventures. Riley began Cub Scouts as a Wolf. He attends every Wednesday night. He seems to really enjoy this activity. Cayli began Girl Scouts as a Daisy. She attends every Tuesday night for two hours. She has already earned some extra badges and she is excited to go every week. The kids both raced their final race of the year. Both of them did Great! Cayli had her best performance of her "racing career" and just missed getting a "big" trophy!

We visited the Pumpkin Patch on the way to Pasco. The kids and Justin had a blast climbing the hay bales and adventuring through the corn maze. Camryn loved the petting zoo, even though she technically does not "do" any petting. The kids enjoyed their hot cocoa after the hay ride to the huge pumpkin patch. We also visited Uncle Chad's pumpkin patch on two occasions. The kids love searching for just the right pumpkin to take home. Funny how we ended up with at least 6 big pumpkins and at least 30 little pumpkins and gourds! The kids enjoyed decorating the front of the house with their many pumpkins.

September 2009

September was a crazy busy month! We were busy every weekend with some sort of fun activity. We kicked off the month with our last camping trip of the year. We went to the Soap Lake Resort with the Lloyds. It was a lot of fun. We went roller skating, swam and enjoyed rainbows and rain showers! Rley started second grade in Mr. Phillips class and Cayli started kindergarten in Mrs. Nicolle's class. We went to the production of High School Musical at MLHS which the kids enjoyed a lot. Cayli started her third year of dance class, this year she is a sparkler. We went to our favorite get away spot in Kellog, Idaho, The Silver Mountain Resort. The kids love the waterslide park and they both tried surfing this time, it was a blast. Justin and I finally finished our taxes, I know they are due in April, but we are a little slow to the finish. The entire family put up with me in the last full month of my pregnancy. They have been so supportive through the whole thing. What a great month of activites!

August 2009

August was a less hectic and enjoyable month. We were able to spend time together as a family doing a variety of activities. We went camping, we went to the Grant County Fair and Rodeo, we went to the movies and we prepared for the beginning of school. We spent a lot of time just hanging out and enjoying one anothers company. We got together with friends and family and enjoyed the end of summer. Riley and Cayli raced at Ephrata Motocross and had a lot of fun. Both kids came home with trophies and smiles. The kids enjoyed the sun and were eager for school to start.

Eureka, Montana Trip

July 2009

July was full of fun in the sun summer activities. It is amazing that summer "break" seems to be often times more busy than other time of the year. With three kids at home we seem to not have many "breaks" during the summer months, July was no exception!

We kicked off the month with Riley and Cayli attending a week long gynamistics camp. They spent three hours a day at AIM Gymnastics having a blast! They are already talking about next years gymnastics camp.

Fourth of July weekend was spent with family and friends. We had a barbecue at our house to kick off the weekend. Our guests were the Utters, Lloyds, Stanleys, Carvos, Dishons and the Hestons. The kids played on the slide and the big kids played ladder golf. On Saturday the fourth we played on the water with the Lloyds and the Stanley's, it was a lot of fun. The Utter's provided the food and docking station for us all, thanks a bunch. We went out in the boats to watch the beautiful show of fireworks surrounding Moses Lake. It was a great display.

We took the kids to the aquatic center in Moses Lake and spent one day at the Ephrata Splash Zone. The kids had a lot fun trying out the various attractions at each park. All of the kids seem to never have enough time spent playing in the water! They are always asking for more!

We decided to try something new so the usual group of us headed to Soap Lake to try out the roller skating rink. It was a blast. There were many wrecks, laughs, tears and sore feet! It is definitely something the kids both big and small look forward to trying again!

Cayli did a dance camp where she learned a new hip hop routine. She had a blast with her friends Jillian, Cassidy and Allison. They are all quite the little show stoppers!

On the 19th me and kids along with our friends, Tifiany, Jillian and Alissa headed to Montana for a week long vacation. We were going to Eureka to celebrate Jonni's wedding on the 25th. Justin and Brett joined us later in the week. We had a great time in Montana enjoying the small town atmosphere, relaxation, swimming, eating and spending time with family and friends. We spent one entire day at the Waterslide Park in Columbia Falls, we had lot' s of fun!

On the 25th my little sister Jonni celebrated her marriage to her wonderful husband Rob. It was a beautiful luau themed celebration with beautiful flowers and great decorations. Jonni was absolutely gorgeous and everyone had a great time. The entire celebration took place at my Grandpas bar. There were so many people who helped make it a great week for Jonni and her family. Thanks to everyone.

We took the last week in July to chill out and relax. We did some school clothes shopping, some swimming in Moses Lake and hanging out with friends. I had a doctor appointment for my 26th week appointment for my pregnancy and all is going well. We are so thankful that this pregnancy has been blessed with no concerns or major issues. We are looking forward to bringing home our baby boy! We are eager to see what August brings for excitement, entertainment and fun!
